Question:
When is the Albatross available?

Answer:
When it's ready! Not the answer you would like, a wholly unsatisfactory answer, but is the root of the problem. Toni and I are the only two in our company of 20 workers, that can make the tools, jig and fittings. The Albatross needs a mound of tools and jigs. The production Albatross will be far better than the prototype we have flown with at many flying meets. For example in the cockpit area scale-formers are now inserted in the "wet" laminate. We are working every available minute on the Albatross, when we are not talking with customers on the telephone, serving customers, answering e-mail's and generally making sure the factory is running. Does it happen with you, you begin with something, thinking that will take a week and then after two months ... the one advantage, life is no way boring!

Question:
I have a second hand ZG 38, how can I tell whether it is a ZG 38, ZG 38S or a ZG 38SC.

Answer:
The ZG 38 has very thick cooling fins, seen from the side these fins are tapered, 1 mm thick at the ends and 3 mm thick in the middle. The ZG 38S has thin fins with a 1 mm constant thickness. The ZG 38SC is the ZG 38S with a choke in the carburettor.

Question:
Is there a set of parts for the ZG 38 silencer?

Answer:
No! The header pipe hole in the silencer must be bell mouthed. This can only be done after the end caps are welded on. Hardly anyone has a tool to bellmouth stainless steel. Without the bellmouth the header joint would not last.

Question:
Are spares obtainable for the old Titan ZG 22.

Answer:
Of course, although these spares are no longer in the new catalogue they are still available. The most spares are identical to the ZG 23SL spares anyway.

Answer:
Of course not, this column in the future will have many additions. But now I must set to work intensively with the Albatross. See first question ...
