Manfred Ricken's red Piper PA 18

Manni´s red Piper has may flying hours in the book. After his second (yellow) Piper was ready, he started practicing intensely to land on a single wheel. His newest gag was landing only on the wing tip. Manni was a real enthusiast, but sadly is no longer with us.

One day Manni did an inverted spin down to 50 feet(!) and recoverd into a perfect full power touch and go right in the middle of the runway. The spectators were screaming out loud, so loud, one could not even hear the screaming engine. The spectators must have shocked Manni, he never tried this stunt again.
